Summary of data usage

  • HomeGuard LTD will use your personal data exclusively for the purpose of conducting business and especially to provide after care services in connection with work carried out by HomeGuard LTD.
  • You may change, update or remove data at any time in accordance with this privacy policy. If you no longer wish to be contacted in the future by us please forward any emails you may have received to [email protected] and insert “unsubscribe” as the appropriate subject heading.
  • We use payment service providers to process credit card data, and to better protect that data, we do not process or store it ourselves. Any time your card data is transferred, it will be encrypted using 128 bit SSL encryption.
  • Once you have provided us with your personal data, we do not pass the data on to third parties. A transfer of data to companies outside of HomeGuard LTD will only take place where necessary.
  • You also have rights over how your data is used. For example, if we rely on your permission for contacting you about products and services carried out by HomeGuard LTD or marketing purposes, you have the right to withdraw that permission at any time. We will process your request as promptly as possible to prevent further marketing.

How long will you keep my data?

We maintain and protect data for as long as necessary in connection with the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise lawfully processed, including as required by applicable laws and limitation periods. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Any personal data collected and retained through question/contact forms are used solely for contacting you back and answering your questions about one of the services that we offer and may contact you in near future about after care service for the work carried out by HomeGuard LTD.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Visitor comments on our websites may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Comments & Reviews

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms
